a) 6x-8=10 ⇒ 6x=10+8=18 ⇒ x=18/6=3

b) 19-x=-14 ⇒ 19+14=x ⇒ x=33

c) 6x+45=-4x-9 ⇒ 6x+4x=-9-45 ⇒ 10x=-54 ⇒ x=-54/10 = -27/5

d) -4(2-3x)=11-(x+17) ⇒ -8+12x=11-x-17 ⇒12x+x=11-17+8 ⇒13x=2 ⇒ x=2/13

e) 1 + (6x-5)/3 = 3x/4-1/3 ⇒ (6x-5)/3 - 3x/4 = -1/3-1

                                   ⇒ (24x-20)/12 - 9x/12 = -1/3-3/3

                                   ⇒ (15x-20)/12 = -4/3

                                   ⇒ 3(15x-20) = -4(12)

                                   ⇒ 45x-60 = -48

                                   ⇒ 45x = -48+60 = 12

                                    ⇒ x = 12/45 = 4/15

f) (24-4x)(31+x)=0 ⇒ 24-4x=0 ou 31+x=0

                            ⇒ 24=4x ou x=-31

                            ⇒  x=24/4=6 ou x=-31

g) 11x²-33x=0 ⇒ x(11x-33)=0

                      ⇒ x=0 ou 11x-33=0

                      ⇒ x=0 ou 11x=33

                      ⇒ x=0 ou x=33/11=3

Ex. 2 :

(23-x)/(38-x) = 38/23 ⇒ 23(23-x) = 38(38-x)

                                  ⇒ 529 -23x = 1 444 - 38x

                                  ⇒ -23x + 38x = 1 444 - 529

                                  ⇒  15x = 915

                                  ⇒ x = 915/15 = 61

Vérification : (23-61) / (38-61) = (-38) / (-23) = 38/23
